What you'll do

As Head of People & Culture, you'll work closely with our HR Administrator and HR Coordinator in India to streamline and professionalize all HR processes in the Netherlands. You act as a strategic sparring partner for the management team and team leads. Balancing policy creation with a practical, hands-on approach. You'll also help us build a proactive HR function that supports organizational growth and anticipates future needs.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing HR policies and processes, including onboarding/offboarding, the annual review cycle, and our employee handbook.
  • Owning our HR tooling: selecting and implementing payroll, HRIS, and performance management systems.
  • Acting as a trusted partner to managers: guiding difficult conversations and supporting performance and underperformance cases.
  • Hands-on recruitment for approximately 5–10 hires per year, managing the full hiring process end-to-end.
  • Being a driver of culture: creating moments—both online and offline—that foster engagement and connection across the team.

Who we're looking for

  • 7+ years of HR experience.
  • Excellent English and Dutch communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Strong knowledge of Dutch HR law.
  • Great people skills and solid organizational abilities.
  • Proactive, clear, and structured in your approach.
  • Tactful, empathetic, and solution-oriented.
