Global Enterprise Partners is op zoek naar een BI Developer / Data engineer voor een initieel project van 8 maanden bij onze klant in Amsterdam

  • Team bestaat uit data scientists (voorspellende modellen, vooral voor onderhoud), data engineers/machine learning engineers, en BI developers.

* De BI developer werkt nauw samen met data engineers, business stakeholders en andere BI engineers.

Huidige Technische Stack

* SQL-database voor analytische doeleinden.

* ETL-tool: PowerCenter (Informatica), migratie naar IDMC (cloudvariant) voorzien.

* Front-end/reporting tools: Power BI, Spotfire, Business Objects (minst belangrijk).

* Dashboards en rapportages worden gebouwd bovenop de SQL-database.

Taken & Verantwoordelijkheden

* Data Modellering: Ontwerpen, bouwen en onderhouden van datamodellen (Data Vault, Kimball/star schema, snowflake modeling) afhankelijk van de complexiteit en schaal van de data.

* ETL/ELT: Ontwikkelen en optimaliseren van ETL-processen, zowel on-premise als in de cloud (PowerCenter, Dataform, Airflow/Cloud Composer).

* Data Migratie: Begeleiden en uitvoeren van migraties van on-premise naar cloud, inclusief het ontwerpen van de transitie, het migreren van historische data en het waarborgen van datakwaliteit.

* Data Security & Compliance: Implementeren van data masking, row/column level security, en encryptie (GDPR, KMS, etc.) voor gevoelige datasets.

* Reporting & BI: Ontsluiten van data voor rapportages en dashboards in Power BI, Spotfire en andere tools; modelleren van data voor optimale rapportageprestaties.

* Samenwerking: Intensief samenwerken met data scientists, business stakeholders, cloud engineers en externe migratieteams (o.a. TCS India).

* Procesoptimalisatie: Identificeren van bottlenecks in data pipelines, adviseren over schaalbaarheid, kostenoptimalisatie en performance tuning.

* Agile Werken: Deelname aan scrum ceremonies, sprint planningen, stand-ups en retrospectives.

Gewenste Ervaring & Skills

* Ervaring met cloud data platforms (GCP, BigQuery, Dataform, Airflow/Cloud Composer).

* Kennis van verschillende datamodelleringsmethodieken (Data Vault, Kimball/star schema).

* Ervaring met ETL/ELT tools (PowerCenter, Dataform, DBT, Airflow).

* Ervaring met BI tools (Power BI, Spotfire).

* Kennis van data security, compliance en best practices rondom gevoelige data.

* Sterke communicatieve vaardigheden en ervaring met werken in multidisciplinaire teams.

* Proactieve houding in het signaleren en oplossen van technische en procesmatige uitdagingen.
