The Opportunity: Data & Reporting Analyst
We are looking for an experienced Data & Reporting Analyst to take a lead role in transforming data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making across the company. In this hands-on role, you will design and deliver business-critical dashboards and analytical reports that inform how we improve patient access and grow our business. As a senior individual contributor on our Data & Analytics team, you'll work alongside a Data Engineer and fellow Analysts within our Product & Engineering organization. You will collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders in Operations, Growth, Marketing, Commercial, and Product, becoming a go-to expert for data insights.
What you'll do in this role:
- Build and maintain business-critical dashboards and reports (Tableau/BI tools) end-to-end — from requirements to data modelling and visualization.
- Create core dashboards for program performance, revenue tracking, and patient source attribution.
- Analyse data from SQL/NoSQL databases, Airflow and Excel to generate clear insights that support growth and operational decision-making.
- Deliver ad-hoc analyses and executive-ready reports for leadership.
- Partner with Data Engineering to ensure data quality, reliable pipelines, and well-structured models.
- Monitor KPIs and highlight trends, bottlenecks, or areas for improvement across programs, funnels, and revenue.
- Provide cross-functional support to Operations, Growth, Marketing, Commercial and Product teams.
- Conduct deeper analysis in Python (pandas/numpy) and SQL when questions go beyond existing dashboards.
What you bring to the table:
- 3+ years of experience in data analytics or BI, ideally in tech or digital health.
- Strong SQL skills (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and experience with dashboarding tools such as Tableau.
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases, Airflow, and strong Excel capabilities.
- Proficiency in Python for data cleaning, exploration, and scripting.
- Ability to present data clearly using effective visualizations, including advanced chart types.
- Strong analytical thinking — able to identify trends, interpret complex datasets, and connect insights to business outcomes.
- Solid business understanding of metrics like revenue, funnels, and acquisition.
- Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to explain insights to technical and non-technical teams.
- Experience working cross-functionally and building strong relationships across teams.
- Experience mentoring analysts or leading data projects.
- Proactive, organized, and comfortable in a fast-paced, scaling environment.
- Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business or equivalent practical experience.
What Success Looks Like In Your First 6 Months
- You've launched 3–5 high-impact dashboards (program performance, revenue, patient attribution) that are actively used across teams.
- Your dashboards achieve 90%+ stakeholder adoption, with positive feedback on clarity, accuracy and usability.
- You've delivered 5–10 ad-hoc analyses that informed key decisions for Growth, Operations, Commercial or Product.
- Data quality has improved measurably — with fewer data discrepancies and clearer data definitions across your reporting areas.
- Leadership regularly uses your reporting in reviews, and your insights have influenced at least 2–3 strategic or operational decisions.
- You've established strong cross-functional relationships and become the primary analytics partner for at least two teams.
- You've documented and shared best practices, helping junior analysts and business users adopt self-service analytics tools effectively.
What we offer
- Impactful work that helps patients gain access to potentially lifesaving treatments.
- International work environment, scale-up energy and flat organizational structure which encourages creativity and accountability.
- Competitive salary, annual performance bonus and an Employee Stock Option Plan.
- Great career development opportunities in a fast-growing company.
- Learning and development budget alongside internal knowledge sharing sessions.
- Attractive pension plan, full premium covered by myTomorrows.
- Hybrid working model.
- Policies to support working parents.
- Healthy lunch at the thriving Amsterdam office.
- Unlimited access to professional guidance by certified psychologists via OpenUp
- Enjoy monthly events hosted by our vibrant Culture Club as well as an annual 'myTomorrowland' company-wide celebration
