IT Portfolio Manager
to lead and manage our IT change portfolio, ensuring that all investments are strategically aligned and deliver measurable business value.

Job Mission

As an IT Portfolio Manager, you will oversee the complete lifecycle of the IT change portfolio—from intake and prioritization to execution monitoring and value realization. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, IT leadership, and program managers to ensure governance, transparency, and strategic alignment across all IT initiatives. Your ability to combine strategic insight with operational excellence will be key to driving successful transformation.

Job Description

You will be responsible for:

  • Portfolio Governance:
    Establish and maintain governance structures for IT change initiatives, including intake, prioritization, and approval processes.
  • Strategic Alignment:
    Ensure that the IT change portfolio supports enterprise strategy, business goals, and technology roadmaps.
  • Portfolio Planning:
    Develop and maintain an integrated portfolio roadmap with clear dependencies, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Performance Monitoring:
    Track progress, risks, and benefits realization across the portfolio, providing timely updates to senior leadership.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    Partner with business units, IT teams, finance, and PMO functions to maintain alignment and transparency.
  • Reporting & Communication:
    Deliver clear and concise reports on portfolio performance, value delivery, and decision-making insights.
  • Change Enablement:
    Support organizational change management by ensuring portfolio initiatives align with readiness and adoption efforts.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    Identify opportunities to enhance portfolio management practices, tools, and decision-making frameworks.

  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving, and ambiguous environments.

Education and Experience

  • Master's degree in Information Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • 8+ years of experience in IT portfolio or program management, ideally within large, complex organizations.
  • Proven track record managing cross-functional IT change portfolios.
  • Familiarity with Agile, SAFe, and traditional project management methodologies.
  • Experience with portfolio management tools and governance frameworks.
  • Background in consultancy or organizational transformation is an advantage.
