What To Expect
The Senior Dangerous Good Compliance Specialist is responsible and the main point of contact for all EMEA Logistics-related dangerous goods compliance efforts. You will be part of the Logistics Compliance team. This team is responsible for developing, maintaining and auditing Tesla's logistics compliance standards, processes, and tools. Your aim will be to ensure our organization adheres to the applicable regulatory standards, identify gaps in our processes, and drive efforts to increase our compliance. You excel at translating regulatory requirements into actionable solutions for our business. You are a true team player, can understand our stakeholders and translate them into actionable logistics operations with maximal safety and compliance.

What You'll Do- Drive Dangerous Goods program forward within EMEA Logistics
- Develop our Dangerous Goods training material, audit training compliance, and facilitate training
- Monitor Dangerous Goods shipments and drive change to reduce error
- Audit our locations handling Dangerous Goods
- Develop and maintain strategic roadmap to increase compliance
- Monitor and implement changes to adhere to regulatory requirements
- Communicate updates to our internal stakeholders
- Work with our internal stakeholders to drive improvements in the dangerous goods
- Provide day to-day regulatory guidance on packaging specifications, marking, labeling, and shipping documents
- Prepare analyses and reporting to understand our dangerous goods compliance
- Identify, report and improve reoccurring dangerous goods errors
- Drive system improvement to reduce operational overhead while improving compliance
- Provide product identification and classification guidance of products and components for ADR, IATA, lMO, and DGR compliance.
What You'll Bring- BA/MS degree in supply chain, business, engineering or any other relevant field
- Certified in Dangerous Goods management
- 5+ years' experience in dangerous goods transportation classification and packaging compliance (ADR, IATA, IMO)
- Audit experience for Dangerous Goods compliance or related audit program.
- Excellent communication skills, you will represent the Tesla team with all external partners
- Ability to investigate large amounts of data and keep oversight
- A passion for logistics and compliance. You will be part of a new team that will structure and change our logistics operations.
- Open-minded self-starter with a positive attitude and determination
- Excellent organizational, administrative and problem-solving skills
- Strong eye for detail and ability to provide strategic solutions
- Excellent Excel skills, experience in using BI tools is preferred
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams and build robust business strategies
