Role Overview
We are looking for a Business Developer who can recognize and shape new opportunities within early- and mid-stage in-vitro diagnostics. In this role, you evaluate and develop research and service projects, build strategic partnerships, and transform scientific insights into concrete use cases and business opportunities that support the growth of the product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and develop research projects involving biomarker discovery, feasibility, assay optimization, and analytical validation.
  • Collect scientific, clinical, and market input and translate this into compelling business cases.
  • Establish and manage collaborations with internal teams and external partners.
  • Identify new business development opportunities that align with strategic goals and existing technology assets.
  • Contribute to patient-pathway definitions and assess product impact.
  • Support agreement drafting/negotiation and perform grant evaluations.

Your Profile

  • Master's degree or PhD in molecular biology, genetics, biochemistry, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in Business Development, preferably within the Life Sciences industry.
  • Understanding of diagnostic technologies (PCR, microarray, NGS) and intellectual property.
  • Knowledge of the molecular diagnostics development process, including research, validation, clinical studies, and commercialization.
  • Experience with GMP/ISO standards and working in an international setting.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, entrepreneurial mindset, and ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Motivated by improving healthcare and delivering solutions that benefit patients.
