What the role is about

As a Demand Planning Intern at MMD Monitors & Displays, you'll get a real behind-the-scenes look at how we plan, forecast, and deliver Philips and Evnia monitors across Europe. Based in our Amsterdam headquarters, you'll join a diverse, international team that keeps our business running smoothly — balancing numbers, insights, and teamwork every day.

Your day-to-day will be varied: one moment you'll be supporting the team with Excel-based reports or coordinating service requests, and the next you'll be taking notes in team meetings or helping us shape the future of our demand planning process.

You'll also get to take part in exciting ongoing projects — including the implementation of our new Salesforce Forecast tool, which will move our planning from Excel to a modern online platform.

This means you won't just learn about demand planning in theory — you'll see how it works in practice, and even help improve the way we do it. Expect to work closely with demand planners, product managers, and marketing colleagues, while gaining hands-on experience in reporting, documentation, and project coordination.

What you will be doing

• 50% Working on the Salesforce Forecast tool
  Understanding the project, coordinating documentation, scheduling meetings, taking notes, and preparing flow charts and reports. You'll gain real project management experience in this process.
• 20% Managing sample planning requests and customer service planning requests
  You'll coordinate with the order desk team to avoid over-confirmation or over-shipment and help speed up the sales of end-of-life models.
• 20% Ad hoc reporting
• 10% Ad hoc tasks based on team needs, such as assisting with projects, meetings, and other activities.

What you need to succeed
Must-have requirements

• Active enrollment in a university in the EU during the internship
• Availability for a 6-month, full-time internship (starting in February or March 2026)
• Internship allowance of EUR
• Studying for a Bachelor's or Master's degree in SCM, Logistics, Engineering, or a similar field
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Good MS Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)
• Team-player attitude
• Proactive mindset and motivation to learn
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a diverse, international environment with flexibility and understanding
• Quick learner with a reliable, hands-on approach

It's a plus if you have:

• Experience or skills in Power BI
