In our Sponsor Coverage team, we are looking for a new Analyst who will join our department. We are dedicated to initiating, coordinating and enhancing relationships between the bank and Financial Sponsors. This role is product-neutral, similar to any Relationship Banking/Coverage role concerning corporate clients. As the primary point of contact, Sponsor Coverage holds ultimate commercial responsibility for Rabobank's relationships with Financial Sponsors across private equity and infrastructure. The core mission of Sponsor Coverage is to align the bank's key stakeholders to maximize both strategic (event-related) and tactical income. Whilst the Sponsor Coverage team covers both private equity and infrastructure, the primary focus of this role will be on infrastructure fund clients.

You and Your Job

As a key member of the Sponsor Coverage team, you will have significant accountability for top-line income through explicit responsibility (either jointly or solely) for several of Rabobank's core Financial Sponsor relationships. Management of these relationships is intentionally assigned to those deemed client-responsible, with analysts within the Sponsor Coverage team playing an integral role in supporting coverage and relationship management efforts. You are a vital part of the team and will experience a steep learning curve, gaining exposure to the bank's full product suite (e.g., M&A, Leveraged & Corporate Lending, DCM, ECM, FIG, and Rabo Investments). To support your development on the job, we offer a comprehensive corporate finance training program while also giving you the opportunity to selectively join product teams executing strategic and financing mandates in the years ahead.

You will operate at the center of the international infrastructure funds market, which continues to show significant growth across various strategies. Clients are becoming increasingly diversified, offering ongoing new opportunities for the bank. Sponsors' income continues to grow as the most substantial client group across a wide range of products and services.

Your tasks will include:

• As an analyst, you will work closely with all infra sponsor-related origination teams and efforts on sourcing new deals and client engagement. You will make a difference by being a key driver in creating, building, and enhancing Rabobank's relationships with the Infrastructure Sponsor community and coordinating client-coverage strategies.
• Act as the central coordinator, delivering the full range of Rabobank's products, insights, knowledge, and networks. Your role is to help drive and coordinate these elements while maintaining a profitable, reciprocal, and mutually satisfying relationship.
• Oversee Rabobank's relationships with Infrastructure Sponsors across a broad range of sectors, including Energy Transition, Transport & Mobility and Digital Infrastructure, in alignment with the bank's strategies.
• Assist the Sponsor Coverage team in the development, execution, and implementation of strategy. You will contribute to and share responsibility for a structured and consistent approach to dedicated coverage and planning. This includes, among others, participating in analysis of clients, portfolios, and markets to source opportunities, engaging in strategic discussions, supporting pitching opportunities, and coordinating execution efforts with sponsors while involving relevant product and client groups at the right time.

You and Your Talent

• Master's degree and up to 2 years of working experience in Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, or Private Equity through work or internships
• Creative and innovative, with strong interpersonal and social skills
• Ability to develop exceptional relationship management skills with flexibility across various levels, cultures, and geographies
• Strong affinity with Infrastructure Funds and Private Equity, Corporate Finance, and the banking industry
• Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
• Dedicated customer focus, collaboration, and results-driven mindset
