Your role:
Our Risk Advisory Group is looking for an ambitious master student to perform a thesis internship, available for 5 days a week and wants to experience the world of Financial Risk Management consulting. This team focuses on financial risk related projects for banks, insurers and asset managers. In your role as a thesis intern you will set up a research project with the support of Zanders in an independent and proactive way.

Key Responsibilities:

• You will work on your thesis for 3 days a week and 2 days you will be supporting our consultants with projects for clients and/or projects for Zanders, to experience what it is like to be a Consultant at Zanders,
• Creative and innovative ideas on the research topic,
• Interest in financial models and passionate about bringing ideas to life. You are always looking for new ways to learn and like to be continuously challenged,
• Receive supervision within Zanders to support you: from defining your research proposal, interpreting your results to reviewing your thesis report.

Skills to be successful:

• Quantitative study like Econometrics, Quantitative Finance, Mathematics or similar;
• Interest in risk management, financial markets and economic change, with a flair for quantitative analysis and modelling.
• Independent, creative and analytically strong;
• Good communication skills, fluent in English,
• Passion for problem solving, advising and client facing projects;
• Preferably, you have experience working with Excel or have gained programming (Python) skills during your study.
