The job profile

This new Director Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and Strategic Finance role offers a unique opportunity to directly influence Advario's ambitious global growth agenda. As a key partner to the VP Finance & Control and the executive team, you will shape strategic decisions by translating complex internal and external data into clear, actionable insights. The role sits at the intersection of financial excellence and business strategy, supporting the company's buy-and-build expansion, strengthening performance management, and guiding long-term value creation across the global terminal portfolio.

Leading a team of four, you will oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and scenario planning, while acting as the finance counterpart for all business development activities. The position requires a strong balance of analytical rigor, strategic thinking, and business partnering to drive profitability, identify growth opportunities, and embed financial discipline throughout the organization. This is an influential, high-impact role for a finance leader who thrives in a dynamic, scaling environment and wants to contribute to Advario's mission of shaping a more sustainable energy future.

• Master degree in Business Administration, preferably followed by a chartered controller qualification (RC degree or equivalent)
• Preferably a professional qualification in the area of controlling, corporate finance or valuation
• 8-12+ years of progressive experience in finance, business performance management, or FP&A, including at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Proven track record of driving business performance improvement in a complex, multinational, or matrix organization
• Experience supporting senior executives and influencing strategic decisions
• Strong financial and analytical skills with ability to translate data into actionable insights
• Strong presentation skills, able to explain concepts concisely and accurately
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal)
• Curious, persistent and goal oriented
