About the Position

We are seeking a
Senior Project Manager ā€“ Technology
to lead major capital and technology projects supporting production expansion. These projects involve the deployment of new systems, equipment, and digital technologies across manufacturing, including MES, SCADA, OT, serialization, and packaging automation.

This role involves close collaboration with Engineering, Operations, IT, Quality, and external vendors to ensure that all systems and equipment are delivered, installed, tested, qualified, and ready to be used in a GMP environment. The scope is large, fast-moving, and ideal for a senior professional experienced in managing complex, multi-stakeholder technical projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage large technology and automation projects from planning to completion
  • Create and maintain project schedules, milestones, and risk registers
  • Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams (Engineering, Operations, IT, Quality, vendors)
  • Oversee installation, testing, commissioning, and qualification of systems and equipment
  • Ensure project deliverables meet GMP, compliance, and documentation standards
  • Support deployment of MES, SCADA, OT, serialization and related applications
  • Facilitate project meetings, progress reporting, and stakeholder communication
  • Manage project controls, resource planning, and budget tracking
  • Drive alignment between technical teams and operational readiness
  • Contribute to SOP updates, process qualification documentation, and validation activities

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in project management ideally within pharma, biotech, or other GMP-regulated manufacturing environments
  • Strong background in leading large, complex, cross-functional technical projects
  • Experience with equipment qualification, validation, and GMP compliance
  • Understanding of manufacturing IT/OT systems (MES, SCADA, serialization, automation)
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work effectively in dynamic environments
  • Skilled in scheduling, risk management, and project controls
  • Comfortable working onsite at least 50% of the time in Breda
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Familiarity with Smartsheet or similar project management tools
  • Technical background in engineering, manufacturing, or IT is preferred
