As a passionate and experienced Design System Designer within Exact's UX team, you will be instrumental in shaping and maintaining our design system. Your expertise in Figma, components, variables, design tokens and front-end collaboration, will help shape our business software that's not only easy to use but also helps users to be successful in their business.

This = the job you are looking for

You will manage, expand and update our design library for Exact Online, our cloud-based business software. You will define design tokens and implement variables to components, and create and maintain design templates. You will collaborate with other UX designers and product teams to implement the design system across digital products based on users' needs. And that's not all. We can rely on you as a Design system designer to:

  • Document usage guidelines and component behavior.
  • Train designers and maintain quality across product teams.
  • Demonstrate strong UI design skills and creative thinking while keeping a consistent look and feel of our product.
  • Understand UI/UX principles, responsive design, and accessibility best practices.
  • Work independently and show project management and communication skills.
  • Communicate clearly in English

You will be part of a Design system team, working closely with Product design and a UX Researcher. Our designers are enthusiastic, talented professionals who support each other to achieve the best outcome. They are always there to advocate for the users and help build solutions that our users need and enjoy using. Besides that, you will be working with Product owners, development teams, internal stakeholders AND most importantly our users to ensure your work has impact.

With us, you can be yourself, and we would love to discover what sets you apart. For the position of Design system designer in the UX team, it's helpful if you have good communication and presentation skills. And thrive to learn and try new approaches and ideas. What's more, you bring:

  • At least 3 years experience in UX Design within a SaaS / enterprise environment.
  • A portfolio that shows design system expertise and scalable solutions.
  • Experience with Figma is really important
  • Ability to show real-life examples of Design system implementations.
  • Experience in collaboration with developers.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and openness to feedback.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, Stylesheets) and cloud awareness.
  • Experience in Mobile design is an advantage.
  • And of course a relevant degree.
