At Churned, we help subscription-based businesses retain, reactivate, and grow their customer base. Our Predictive Retention Platform combines AI-driven insights with seamless integrations to help customer success and marketing teams act proactively, predicting customer behavior before it happens.

We work with leading B2B SaaS and digital subscription companies across Europe, helping them automate retention and growth strategies through data-driven intelligence.

The Role

We're looking for an
Operational Data Analyst,
a sharp, analytical team player with a strong grasp of data structures, a solid technical foundation, and a customer-facing attitude.

You'll work closely with our Technical Onboarding Specialist, Data Science team, and Customer Success Managers to translate messy input data into clean, structured sources for our models. You'll also take ownership of data-related configurations and actively support clients during onboarding by analyzing and validating incoming data streams.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys diving into data, structuring chaos, and communicating insights clearly.

Your Responsibilities

  • Analyze and structure incoming customer data to prepare it for model ingestion.
  • Own parts of the onboarding process from a data perspective, acting as the bridge between client systems and our AI engine.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their data structure and provide clear guidance to ensure correct integration.
  • Support our Technical Onboarding Specialist in mapping and transforming data from sources like BigQuery, Stripe, Pipedrive, Intercom, and more.
  • Spot inconsistencies and proactively suggest improvements in data quality and structure.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to data ingestion and integrations.
  • Build and maintain internal documentation and data mapping standards.

Your Profile

  • A completed HBO or University degree, preferably in a technical or data-focused field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in a data-related or analytical role, preferably with client interaction.
  • SQL and Python skills
    are required.
  • Familiarity with APIs and data workflows (ETL processes, databases, etc).
  • Comfortable working with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure.
  • Structured, precise, and highly detail-oriented.
  • Able to clearly explain technical and data concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset.
  • Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.
