Bachelor Internship: End-to-End Marketing Campaign Development for a Connected Trucking Company

Designing, Executing, and Analyzing Targeted Campaigns to Promote Digital Truck Services and Drive Customer Engagement

The intern will support the marketing team in designing, executing, and analyzing end-to-end marketing campaigns for our connected-truck products and services. This assignment combines creativity, communication, and analytical thinking, giving the student full ownership of selected campaigns—from first concept to final delivery.

The role is ideal for a 3rd or 4th year student with an interest in marketing and some basic experience in campaign creation, content production, or marketing analysis.

Objective

Plan, execute, and evaluate marketing campaigns that promote our digital truck services to different customer segments. This includes creating campaign content, coordinating with internal stakeholders, and analyzing performance results.

Key Responsibilities

1. Campaign Planning

2. Support the creation of campaign goals, target audiences, and communication angles

3. Translate technical product features into clear customer value messages

4. Content & Deliverable Creation

5. Develop marketing materials such as email copy, social media posts, visuals, one-pagers, or presentations

6. Coordinate with design, product, and sales teams for approvals and alignment

7. Ensure brand consistency and clarity across all campaign assets

8. Campaign Execution

9. Help publish campaigns across channels (email, digital platforms, social media)

10. Monitor timelines, track deliverables, and maintain campaign documentation

11. Campaign Analysis

12. Collect and evaluate performance metrics (open rates, click-through rates, engagement, conversions)

13. Identify trends and propose improvements for future campaigns

14. Summarize insights in a clear and business-friendly format

15. Stakeholder Collaboration

16. Work closely with product marketing, digital communications, and sales teams

17. Present campaign results and lessons learned

21. After your graduation, you will have the opportunity to start your career at DAF;
22. An internship wage of € 375,- Bachelor and € 450,- Master per month on full-time base;
23. A travel allowance, if you don't have a student travel product (provided by the Dutch government);
24. A housing allowance, if you temporarily rent a room near DAF.

As our digital offering grows, impactful marketing campaigns are essential to reach the right customers and communicate the value of our services.

• 3rd or 4th year student in Marketing, Communication, Business, or similar
• Basic understanding of marketing processes and campaign development
• Interest in (or basic experience with) marketing analytics
• Strong communication and writing skills
• A proactive mindset and willingness to own deliverables end-to-end
• Creativity and interest in digital products or the mobility/logistics sector are a plus

Deliverables

• Campaign brief outlining goal, audience, and execution plan
• A full set of campaign deliverables (copy, visuals, email flows, etc.)
• Campaign performance report
• Final presentation summarizing learnings, results, and recommendations

By completing this internship, students will learn how to:
