Electrical & Instrumentation Design Lead

The E&I Design Lead is responsible for leading electrical and instrumentation detailed design activities for engineering projects, including greenfield LV power distribution, offshore platforms, and HV substations.

Requirements & Experience:

  • 8+ years total experience
    in Electrical & Instrumentation engineering
  • Minimum 4+ years' experience as E&I Design Lead
  • Bachelor's degree in
    Electrical Engineering
    or related discipline.
  • Experience with an
    engineering/EPC company
  • Experience in
    greenfield LV power distribution detailed design
  • Experience in
    offshore platform
    and
    HV substation
    design
  • Experience in
    lighting design
  • Familiar with
    LV systems
    : LV switchgear, UPS systems, LV distribution boards

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and review E&I detailed design activities
  • Prepare and approve electrical design deliverables including:
  • Cable lists
  • LV SLDs and block diagrams
  • Small power, lighting, and earthing layouts
  • Termination diagrams
  • Installation hook-ups and mounting typicals
  • Cable sizing and calculations
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and ensure compliance with project standards
  • Support 3D model reviews using
    Navisworks
  • Work with
    SmartPlant Instrumentation (SPI)

This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and effective coordination capability.
