About Our Client
Our client is a global logistics service provider offering integrated solutions for freight transport, supply chain, and technology. The Hoofddorp location employs over 250 people representing 50 different nationalities. They operate with a flat organisational structure and a 'no-nonsense' culture. You will be part of a dedicated team focused on an automotive client.

Job Description

  • Coordinate and manage air freight shipments from origin to destination.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, carriers, and internal departments.
  • Prepare and process necessary export documentation.
  • Monitor shipment progress and proactively address any issues.
  • Negotiate rates with carriers to optimise costs.
  • Maintain detailed records of shipments and transactions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the shipment process.

The Successful Applicant

  • Eligibility to obtain a Certificate of Conduct (VGB). Background check that requires you to live 8+ years in the EU.
  • Open to work in rotating 24/7 shifts and weekends.
  • Has a own transport (e.g. scooter, car, e-bike).
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Proven experience within air operations.
  • Familiarity with shipping documentation and customs processes.
  • Problem-solving mindset and proactive attitude.

What's on Offer

  • Direct contract with the company and prospect of a permanent position.
  • Base salary between €3,000 and €3,500 gross per month based on experience.
  • 70% of the pension premium is covered by the company.
  • Travel expense reimbursement of €0.23 per kilometre.
  • 26 vacation days.
