What you will enjoy doing

  • The role is dedicated to the refrigerant business in the Benelux area and gives the owner the responsibility to strategically improve the business in multiple aspects
  • It is an important part of our package gas business and serves a complimentary purpose to our core gasses. Customers expect that the refrigerants alongside the transitional welding and cutting gasses are imperative and the segment is managed with focus
  • The refrigerant business differs from the traditional air gasses, products are bought from third parties, legislation dictates (for a large part) the market trends and is impacted by fluctuations in buying and selling process. As the refrigerant segment manager it is your role to understand and steer these influences
  • P&L performance of the segment will be measured and targets will include: increasing sold (market) volume, improving profitability overall as well as individual products, leading pricing rounds and adapting the PSO facilitating the (future) market needs
  • You will be cooperating with and alongside the various stakeholders in the PSO, such as OEM suppliers, regional sourcing team, deliver, back office and the sales teams. You are expected to take the lead, it is your responsibility (together with various stakeholders) to deliver the expected market service performance level

What makes you great

  • HBO/ bachelor degree and relevant experience in B2B
  • Solid strategical, techno/ commercial and communicative skills
  • Being driven, energetic as well as willing to learn. Comfortable to operate in a multinational corporate
  • You have strong mindset to drive the segment, develop the PSO, own the targets and make your own priorities to get the work done, as well as the ability to identify and take on leadership in managerial as well as operational roles
  • Fluent in Dutch and English
    Having a background in refrigerant knowledge not preferred but desired
