We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to proactively identify, develop, and realise partnerships that align with their growth strategy. You will shape the Company’s market presence by building new relationships, creating long-term collaborations, and leading complex commercial negotiations. With your strong technical understanding of (bio)pharmaceutical processes, you effectively translate customer needs into feasible, competitive solutions and secure long-term contracts that drive sustainable growth. Zorg ervoor dat uw cv up-to-date is en lees vervolgens de volgende functiespecificaties zorgvuldig door voordat u solliciteert.Key Responsibilities:Drive strategic market development by identifying and qualifying new business opportunities in the (bio)pharmaceutical sectorDevelop and execute market and segment growth strategies in line with the Company’s objectivesAct as the primary point of contact for new opportunities, guiding them from initial lead through to signed contractLead complex commercial contract negotiations with (international) customers, ensuring alignment with the Company’s technical capabilities and business objectivesEstablish and manage key commercial documents, including CDAs, P&Ls, Price Quotations, LoAs, Confirmation Letters for Manufacturing slots, and MSAsTranslate customer needs into technically and commercially viable proposals in close collaboration with Operations, Quality, and Program ManagementCoordinate bid and proposal processes, ensuring timely and competitive submissionsBuild and maintain long-term strategic relationships with clients to maximize business potentialConduct regular client visits on business locations, strengthening relationships and deepening understanding of customer needsRepresents the company at (inter)national conferences and congresses, actively promoting the company’s expertise and capabilitiesShare market insights competitor intelligence and industry trends internally to influence the Company’s strategic decision-making.Skills & Experience Required:Degree in Life Sciences Good knowledge of (bio)pharmaceutical xhsqlod production processes Proven track record in creating and closing new business opportunitiesStrong customer orientation, acting as the strategic link between clients and internal teamsAbility to work independently, manage priorities and perform effectively under time pressureCreative problem-solving skills, with the ability to design customer solutions aligned to the Company’s capabilitiesDemonstrated experience in establishing and negotiating complex commercial contracts (e.g., MSAs)Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skillsFluency in English (written and spoken) is essential; additional languages are an advantageWillingness to travel internationally and visit clients on-site
