Partner Cloud Solution Architect

OverviewWe have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and motivated Cloud Solution Architect (CSA) to drive our partner's security transformation within the EMEA Enterprise Partner Solutions (EPS) team This is a partner-facing role, owning the security-focused technical relationship and strategy between the partner and Microsoft. Enterprise Partner Sales, part of Microsoft's Industry & Partner Sales (IPS) organization, is accountable for building and co-selling innovative Microsoft Cloud & AI solutions and services, with our global Enterprise partners. Our Enterprise partner portfolio includes global systems integrators, advisories, high-value management consultancies (SI), independent software vendors (ISV) and software development companies - working together to empower people and organizations to achieve more. As a Partner Cloud Solution Architect - Security you will specialize in one or more of the following categories: Cloud Security, Threat Protection, Identity and Access Management or Data Security, depending on your experience. You will play a pivotal role in guiding our most significant partners to designing and implementing innovative scalable, secure, and efficient cloud architectures that meet market needs. By leveraging your skills in technical leadership, cloud computing, problem solving and systems architecture, you will ensure that their solutions are optimized for performance and cost-efficiency. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.ResponsibilitiesThis role will give you the opportunity to leverage your experience in customer-facing roles and success in leading in-depth technical security architecture discussions with partner executives, Enterprise Security Architects, Enterprise Architects, IT Management, and Developers to secure our customer's technology estate and drive Security as an enabler for Azure and Microsoft 365 workloads.Key Responsibilities IncludeLand an end-to-end value prop for Security (i.e. Zero Trust) which spans the breadth of Microsoft Security offerings. Apply technical knowledge to architect security solutions that meet business needs, infusing key security technologies where appropriate and support the partner in evaluating native solutions in areas such as Microsoft 365 Defender, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, Microsoft Purview and Azure Active Directory.Guide Solution Development & Activation - You'll lead the development and activation of new or enhanced partner offerings that align with Microsoft security priorities. Your focus will be on ensuring these solutions are robust, scalable, secure, and tailored to meet evolving customer needs.Empower Innovation - You'll run technical innovation workshops, tech briefings, and envisioning sessions to build technical intensity across partner teams. By collaborating with engineering and product teams, you'll help accelerate the adoption of emerging technologies and shape partner offerings that align with both business goals and technical requirements.Champion Technical Excellence - You'll guide partners through architecture design sessions, proof-of-concepts, and MVP builds. You'll ensure that solutions follow Microsoft's Cloud and AI best practices and are optimized for performance, scalability, and security.Strategic Sales Enablement - You'll play a key role in activating transformational deals by providing architectural guidance, resolving technical blockers, and enhancing solution design. Your work will directly contribute to workload consumption and revenue impact.Empower partners in their Microsoft Security adoption journey, helping them to define a Secure strategy, Architecture, and implementation of necessary security controls aligned with Microsoft Azure and M365 E5 Security Services including Identity and Access management, Threat Protection, Cloud Security, Information Protection.Partner Enablement & Business Acumen - You'll coach broader partner technical teams to ensure pre-sales, deployment, and consumption are embedded in solution development. You'll help partners build resilience to technical challenges, navigate competitive landscapes, and translate technical concepts into business value.Thought Leadership & Stakeholder Management - You'll build long-term engagements with strategic partners, influencing their adoption of Microsoft technologies. You'll develop deep technical relationships with CXOs and foster executive alignment to support joint success.QualificationsQualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, cybersecurity, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting. OR equivalent experience.Some work related knowledge of industry platforms in one or more of the following categories: Cloud Security, Threat Protection, Identity and Access Management, Data Security, including security architecture, governance, data access, managed security services and modern SOC architecture.Some ability to lead technical innovation workshops, architecture reviews, and build-to-consume engagements with partners.Some experience working on technical projects in customer/partner-facing roles.Preferred: Technical Certification in Cloud (e.g., Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google, security certifications)Language: English is required and any local language(s) is a plus.This position will be open for a minimum of 5 days, with applications accepted on an ongoing basis until the position is filled.Microsoft is an equal opportunity employer.
