Primary Purpose & Scope:

As a Data & Analytics Manager based in Amsterdam, you will utilise your expertise to derive valuable insights from complex datasets. This role involves executing data-driven projects and providing deep analytical insights to measure the impact of loyalty marketing campaigns. You'll collaborate with internal and external teams to tackle complex business challenges and act as a trusted adviser, supporting client pitches and ensuring high-quality data collection.

Role and Responsibilities:

Execute Data & Analytics Projects: Manage end-to-end data analytics projects, from data processing and feature engineering to model building and evaluation.Data Exploration and Analysis: Utilise statistical analysis and data visualisation tools to communicate campaign performance analytics and measurement.Model Development and Implementation: Apply machine learning techniques and statistical modelling to build accurate and robust analysis focusing on control group comparisonData Quality and Quantity: Improve data collection processes during client meetings to ensure data adequacy for analysis.Collaboration with Project Management Team: Analyse campaign performance and provide consultancy to optimise future campaigns.Tool and Platform Development: Contribute to the enhancement of analytical tools and platforms in collaboration with the Business Intelligence and Data Science leads.

Key Relationships:

External: Clients (marketing, IT, CRM & data teams), TCC vendors/partners. Internal: Commercial teams, Forecasting team, Project Management, Operations, Finance, Omnichannel teams.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Experience with statistical computer languages (R, Python, SQL) for data manipulation and insight extraction. Knowledge of various machine learning techniques (clustering, decision trees, neural networks) and their real-world applications. Understanding of advanced statistical techniques (regression, distributions, statistical tests) with practical experience. Bachelor’s degree in data science, mathematics, engineering, physics, or a related machine learning field. Experience with cloud platforms and services. Proficiency in data visualisation tools such as Power BI and Tableau. Fluency in English is required; competency in Italian or Spanish is a plus
