Wat ga je doen?

Als Manager Technical Service Support (TSS) Milking bij Lely speel jij een belangrijke rol bij het innoveren en verbeteren van de melkveehouderijsector. Jij leidt een team van 26 medewerkers verdeeld over 3 teams met elk een eigen teamlead. Samen bieden jullie wereldwijde technische ondersteuning aan de 11 Lely Clusters en ongeveer 200 Lely Centers. Jullie fungeren als aanspreekpunt voor complexe technische vraagstukken en incidenten. Ook leveren jullie, vanuit de ruim 50.000 robots die wereldwijd zijn geïnstalleerd en met een service gerichte benadering, data gedreven input om de huidige producten te verbeteren en stellen jullie eisen aan de (deel)producten van de toekomst. Het ontwikkelen van TSS competences (zoals maintenance, data en training) binnen het ‘Milking’ domein is hierbij essentieel.

Als leidinggevende van het TSS team breng je een heldere visie over en neem je beslissingen wanneer nodig. Je werkt nauw samen met andere afdelingen binnen het Business Team Milking om de technische ondersteuning te optimaliseren. Daarnaast streef je, samen met de teamleads, binnen het eigen team naar een verdere professionalisering op verschillende gebieden, zoals inhoudelijke en persoonlijke ontwikkeling van de teams, duurzame inrichting van processen, verdere professionalisering van de TSS-rol in projecten en het sturen op output. Je fungeert als het gezicht van TSS Milking en zorgt voor een goede samenwerking met de Lely Clusters, Lely Centers en andere (technische) afdelingen binnen Lely om collega's sneller en beter een oplossing bij de boer te laten vinden.

Daarnaast ben je onderdeel van het TSS MT waarin ook andere managers zitten van gelijke TSS teams. Hierbij vertegenwoordig je jouw eigen team in het creëren van de lange termijnstrategie voor TSS en de praktische invulling hiervan door middel van initiatieven.
