Packaging Specialist needed in the FMCG Industry.
A reputable organization in the cosmetics industry with a 15-year track record is seeking to recruit a Packaging Specialist who will be responsible for maintaining their high-quality standards.
As a Packaging Specialist, you will oversee all global procedures to ensure the safety of our products and guarantee that they maintain the required quality standards. Your responsibilities will primarily include liaising with suppliers, monitoring product development, and ensuring that all products comply with legal requirements.
To excel in this role, you must possess excellent communication skills, be able to collaborate effectively with other departments in the organization and demonstrate a high level of accountability and attention to detail. In this role, you will manage international quality assurance activities and projects that contribute to safeguarding and further improving the quality of products.
- Follow up on acute quality packaging issues together with suppliers and coordinate non-conformity processes (eg. CAPA);
- Review monthly customer feedback and take part in (bi)annual supplier evaluation sessions on quality KPIs;
- Signal product quality improvements in partnership with the Innovation Department and your suppliers initiate quality improvement projects to optimize our product assortment;
- Function as a contact person for suppliers, sales organizations, and internal departments, managing quality-related procedures and inquiries;
- Act as business ambassador protecting all quality, safety, and legislation requirements.
- Degree in science or packaging technology, or equivalent in knowledge, experience, and training – (NVC) packaging technology, industrial design engineering, etc.
- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in a Packaging Quality Assurance/Technology role in the (cosmetic) packaging field;
- You are structured, disciplined, have great analytical skills, and enjoy working with stakeholders;
- Social skills are also a must, as you will be interacting with people from different cultures and backgrounds, as well as functions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and a good command of the English language is essential;
- A driver’s license.
