Applicants should possess a good Bachelor’s degree, with at least 8 years’ full-time work experience in design, content creation, communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field. They should have experience in organizing marketing/advertising campaigns (from developing the vision and messaging platform to overseeing production on time and within budget); creating integrated content across all marketing channels, including digital, social media, paid media, mobile, offline, and print; and proven ability to develop successful concepts and proficiency in leading a team. They should also have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); outstanding organisational, communication, project management and problem-solving skills; a high level of computer literacy; and the ability to multitask under pressure, work well both independently and in a team, as well as work with people from a broad range of backgrounds internally and externally. 

The appointee will support the Faculty’s Communications and Public Relations Team in planning, developing and implementing corporate communications strategies for brand promotion. Responsibilities of the appointee will include:

Overseeing the design, content planning, and creation process, as well as lead branding and marketing activities. This includes planning and implementing various social media and website channel promotion initiatives; Driving brand awareness of HKUBS through multi-channel campaigns, including developing strategies and executing digital marketing and design for offline marketing materials; Building market intelligence, monitoring trends and developments to assess the effectiveness of brand activities, and identifying new opportunities; Creating comprehensive short-term and long-term scheduling, budget, and resource plans, and effectively managing resources for branding and marketing activities; Collaborating with external agencies, cross-functional teams, photographers, videographers, and designers to ensure seamless execution of branding and marketing initiatives while adhering to HKUBS' brand guidelines; Monitoring daily social listening and crisis reports; Managing online promotion targeting and compiling monthly analytics reports to track and evaluate performance; and Undertaking any other duties assigned by the Dean and his delegates.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
