We are looking for an Interim Director International Partners & Integrator from July until end of October. 

This role is positioned directly below the Senior Director Partner Network and comes with managerial responsibilities. You'll guide and inspire 5 or 6 direct reports, but your span of attention encompasses about 20-30 colleagues. In effect, you will homogenize and harmonize the activities and capabilities of International Sellers (previously positioned under Network Development) and Ecosystem & Integrators (formerly under B2B Marketing).

You'll enable the team to create and cultivate sustainable partnerships with leading integrators and European platforms (e.g., Allegro), continually expanding our assortment and improving price perception. This is a strategically challenging role, given the inherent fluidity of e-commerce and the myriad of international platform regulations. And expansion may not come at the expense of our quality standards; our NPS should never be in jeopardy, regardless of the seller type and location. You also recognize that a transformation of this scale includes a cultural component, so you embed ecosystem thinking & knowledge in all product and business teams. Ensure that the entire organization subscribes to embracing international partners to increase our relevance to local customers. Of note: you will be a member of the Partner Network Management team and the bol Top40 leadership team, where substantive and leadership contributions to wide topics and transitions are not just welcomed; they're expected.

  • Develop a new vision for our ecosystem and drive organization-wide adoption.
  • Set the International Development course from a perspective of 'infinite scope' and endless opportunities.
  • Own the International Network proposition and develop a non-EU proposition from scratch.
  • Accelerate the onboarding of EU sellers and expand our horizon to non-EU partners.
  • Collaborate with product teams to fill language gaps and create a content machine (AI translation?) to support sellers globally.
  • Drive international (not BNL) partner acquisition, and develop and execute a growth strategy for and with existing EU sellers.
  • Manage relationships with top international sellers – requires traveling abroad.
  • Streamline onboarding for international partners and set them up for quick success.
  • Manage agency relationships, add new integrators, and create ways for integrators to add sellers autonomously.
  • Represent the ecosystem externally. Of note: this calls for frequent travel.

  • Demonstrated experience in leading transformations and managing complex projects.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute methodically in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent in English spoken and written
