WHY BOX NEEDS YOU

We are looking for a seasoned engineering manager who will lead development of our forms product in Amsterdam. You will be responsible to develop a quality focused high performing team. You will be mentoring engineers on the team in their career development.

We follow agile methodologies for development and utilize BDD to ensure quality. You will be leading team through quarterly planning process, setting up OKRs, lead scrum rituals, deliver on quarterly plans and OKRs.

Plan roadmap and releases working with sr. leadership and product partnersMonitor team progress against defined roadmap and OKRs.Mentor and grow team membersLead scrum ritualsPropose and drive process improvements in team and across org

WHO YOU ARE

Required skills

You have 2+ years of experience leading engineering teamsYou have 7+ years of technical experience building full stack web applications or large-scale distributed systemsYou have worked with cloud technologies - AWS, Google Cloud, Docker, KubernetesYou are able to build alignment and execute on new technical ideasYou have a people-oriented leadership style

Preferred skills

You have experience in cloud softwareYou have experience in running teams that build and maintain servicesYou have experience with DevOps and observability best practices - Reliability fundamentals, CI/CD, service up time, etc.
