Job Description:

The Area Lead Pack is responsible for the performance (safety, quality, efficiency & cost) in the packing area of Operations. You will also manage the health and Well-being and personal development plans in your team.

What would be your key responsibilities?

As a Area Lead Pack you are in charge for the following points

1. The performance (safety, quality, efficiency & cost) in the process

or packing area.

He/she owns the Safety & Quality agenda for the area He/she owns the losses and corrective/preventive plans based on the cost loss analyses He/she does a quarterly loss analyses He/she build a 90 day plan using Mars Supply Excellence (MSE) as a vehicle; Autonomous Work Team 5AWT) management, Daily Management System (DMS) focus and Basic Problem Solving (BPS) skills He/she enables the resources to execute the plan He/she uses the Connecting Points (CP2 and CP3) to analyze the weekly performance and will adapt the 90 day plan accordingly He/she will use the CP2/3/4 to connect with the daily issues He/she will spend 50% of the time in the factory; to connect with the operators to execute problem solving and to coach & Teach on MSE execution

2. The job holder is responsible for the Health& Wellbeing and the Personal Development Plan’s in his/her team

He/she will build build high quality development plans & SMART functional objectives ; Will act on high performers with a differentiated development plan , will have regular 1:1 session to follow up on progression and will recognizes good progress and will act on low performers ·He/she will build engagement plans & will drive working together in the team He/she will builds a plan for capability building & training compliance in the team; Will have the rights skills at the rights place including the right level of back up and will make sure the everyone on the team is complaint with required Safety & Quality trainings He/she will be the point of contact for the team for questions on People & Organization (P&O systems); Workday and My P&O

The Area leader will be operating in shifted day time, connected with Factory Mars Operating System (FMOS) , based on 90 day plans and through his/her team. He/she will report into the Operations manager and will be the spokesperson of the area.

Industrial engineering or equal by experience technical knowledge & analytical skills to be able to build an improvement plan Has the right set of people skills to build a high performing team Safety and quality knowledge (LOTO, ISO, HACCP, and FCA) The right set of computer skills to work efficient an independent Has the mindset and behavior linked to the interdependent safety culture
