What Will You Do?
As the Category Marketeer at MediaMarkt, you’ll be at the forefront of crafting and executing marketing strategies that energize our product categories, drive sales, and solidify MediaMarkt’s position as the go-to destination for top tech and electronics. You’ll take ownership of your categories, ensuring every campaign is aligned with our goals to excite and inspire customers. From analyzing market trends to building cross-department collaborations, you’ll make a tangible impact on our success.
KEY ACTIVITIES:
1. Marketing Strategy Development:
Design compelling, audience-driven marketing plans to boost sales and increase brand presence. Use your expertise in our product portfolio to develop campaigns that leave a mark. Track, analyze, and adapt marketing strategies to maximize their effectiveness.2. Opportunity Identification:
Dive into trends, analyze the competition, and identify new growth opportunities. Craft data-backed strategies to keep MediaMarkt ahead of the curve.3. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate seamlessly with sales, product development, and operations. Act as the unifying link between departments, ensuring every campaign is executed flawlessly.4. Financial Management and Reporting:
Take control of budgets, track performance metrics, and report on campaign success. Foster strong relationships with suppliers and maintain clear, proactive communication.
Who Are You?
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM:
A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related fields. 2–5 years of experience in marketing, with strong knowledge of digital strategies and retail trends. Stellar communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a knack for interpreting complex data.
