You are responsible for

Supplier Quality Engineering and Improvement for Philips Site Best suppliers supporting the IGT-S, MR, and DXR business

Driving improved effectiveness in Philips manufacturing by reducing supplier-related quality defects

Assessing, coordinating, and executing Supplier Change Requests and the associated part/process qualifications

Additions/changes/deletions to Approved Supplier List

Supplier Quality Agreement negotiation

Analysis of defects for determining if the supplier caused and then notified

Driving APQP Plan development, execution, monitoring, and control as part of Sustaining Changes

Executing Supplier performance monitoring, reporting, improvement, and development activities

Conducting Supplier quality risk assessment and mitigation activities

To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following:

University degree in engineering or related field

Minimum of 5 years of related engineering experience (medical device or regulated industry preferred)

Wide-ranging experience within an engineering function

Well versed in Quality Engineering and Continuous Improvement techniques

Direct working relationships with suppliers

Direct shop-floor production engineering sustaining experience preferred

Strong communication, relationship-building, and collaboration skills

Problem solving

Willing to take accountability and own decisions
