Functieomschrijving

The Turnaround Materials Coordinator acts as a focalpoint for acquisition, scheduling and distribution of materials andsupplies balancing turnaround needs against Procurement strategies.The primary job elements are to process and expedite materials tomeet turnaround requirement dates.

The MaterialCoördinator (MC) role requires expert understanding of what eachaspect of material support requires and delivers in order tofacilitate acquisition, receipt and delivery of materials to thejob site. 
When supporting Turnaround work thefocus of the Material Coordinator is to: 
• Processpurchase order requests for materials specified in PM (plantmaintenance) orders. Obtains vendor quotes for purchase orderedmaterials. 
• Utilizes AM/SL (AcceptableManufacturer/Supplier List) for vendor selection. 
• Monitor and communicate purchase order and delivery statusto the TA Planner and TA Coördinator. 
• Confirmsmaterial order status and in stock availability and then updatesthe PM (plant maintenance) order user status from MAT1 toMAT3. 
• Communicate any potential changes inmaterial specifications between the supplier and TA planner andinitiates system updates as appropriate. 
•Confirms Long Leadtime delivery items will arrive on site in timeto meet the TA requirement date. • Collaborate with TurnaroundPlanner to resolve any issues which impact material availabilityand delivery 
• Coördinate the disposition of allsurplus material after the turnaround has finished with the TAC andMarshaller. Provides input on whether to return orretain. 
• Track and expedite materials, tools andequipment orders to meet TA requirement date. 
•Arrange to have materials, tools and equipment spotted in the fieldor organized in the parts trailer. 
• Communicatevendor performance to procurement services via QSPP. 
• Use class / codes to obtain contract pricing. 
• Processes repair and refurbishment of part or equipment foroff-site repair.

Functie-eisen

•You have a technical Short-Cycle Tertiary Degree (i.e. associatedegree - technical MBO level 4).
• You have minimum 5years of experience in maintenance, manufacturing, or anotherrelated field.
• Proficiency of the English and Dutchlanguage.
