QC Inspector Piping

Nouvall Engineering Services is specialized inproject support for the (petro) chemical and maritime industry. Weprovide expertise in the field of Engineering, Project Management,Maintenance, Shutdowns, Construction and Safety.

• Performing visual inspection of pipinginstallation, including verifying piping material identity (pipe,valves, and fittings) and its conformance to the installationdrawings
• Verifying thatwelding inspection has been performed and joints have beenreleased
• Ensuring dimensionsand alignment tolerances of the piping systems are as perconstruction specifications
•Conducting in-process surveillance to verify compliance withspecified piping erection procedures, including flange alignments,torquing, cleanliness, etc.
•Performing piping walkdown inspections and completing punch lists;verifying that punch list items have been addressed in accordancewith contractual arrangements
•Reviewing and verifying the completeness of piping test packages(hydro or pneumatic) prior to testing Witnessing final pipingtests
• Completing andendorsing all inspection records from initial inspection to finalacceptance of the piping systems
• Maintaining an interface with the client toensure all contractual and code requirements are met regarding theinspection scope

• Bachelor’s or associate degree inmechanical engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Oil & Gasproject piping inspection
•Proficiency in English (verbal and written)
• Proficient in MS Office, SharePoint, ShareFile,and Microsoft Teams
•Experience in welding inspection or fabrication of piping andvessels to international codes (ASTM, API) isbeneficial
• Demonstratedbackground and thorough knowledge of codes (ANSI/ASME) and otherpiping system installation-related codes andstandards
