QC Inspector- Civil

Nouvall Engineering Services is specialized inproject support for the (petro) chemical and maritime industry. Weprovide expertise in the field of Engineering, Project Management,Maintenance, Shutdowns, Construction and Safety.

• Review and comment on Subcontractor procedures andInspection & test plans.
• Perform witness,inspection & surveillance checks and continually assessSubcontractor QC performance.
• Ensure the quality ofthe work in accordance with the Construction Site Quality Plan,approved ITPs, and procedures within assigned areas.
•Ensure that all inspection activities are recorded in theappropriate records.
• Monitor Subcontractors QCresource levels to achieve quality standards according to agreedratio.
• Identify and document Subcontractor andSupplier quality deficiencies and initiate non-conformance processas required.
• Record deficiencies and/or incompleteworks on punch items and liaise with supervisor/ superintendent toexpedite necessary rectification.
• Maintain closeliaison with discipline supervisors to coordinate filedinspections.
• Make sure that materials used are inaccordance with project technical documents and applicable codesand specifications.
• Support QC/ turnover team forcollecting relevant QC records.

•Have solid background of civil and structural steeldisciplines.
• Have a minimum of 5 years of experiencein civil /quality control construction field.
• Befamiliar with the application of EN 1090-2 standard and regulationNo. 305/2011 – Construction Product Regulation.
• Befamiliar with Completion and turnover managementprocess.
