Role and responsibilities
To realize ASMLs vision, we need to set ourselves up for success to navigate the volume ramp, while managing the growing installed base & supply chain complexity in a smarter way. On top of our drive to eliminate, standardize, centralize and automate, we want to drive structural performance step changes across the organization globally, creating the bandwidth for our people to be more proactive and preventive. As part of the Planning & Delivery Excellence team, you get a chance to make significant contributions to ASMLs supply chain capabilities, which are fundamental for the success of our fast growing company. In general, your responsibilities will be:
Perform process mapping and analyses, identify improvement opportunities, create roadmaps and support business case creation
Drive supply chain planning projects delivering planning capability step-ups and ensure sustainability of the improvements (quality assurance)
Develop policies that translate our planning principles into practical guidelines for decision taking
Align planning processes and methods X-sector, with interfaces to Source & Procure, Manufacturing, Sales & Service, Finance, Development & Engineering, Business Lines
Participate in a virtual team of stakeholders for a specific set of planning processes, together with business process owners, key users, business architects, IT product owners.
Design and document processes in standards (as-is and to-be state), create training material, conduct trainings
Identify & document solution requirements, create user stories, coordinate and prepare testing
Establish and maintain working relationships with stakeholders with exposure on senior management
Education and Experience
Academic level in industrial engineering, econometrics, operations research or similar.
> 10 years relevant experience in supply chain planning
Proven experience in supply chain management in a highly innovative, high-tech, low-volume, make-to-order environment
Superior data analysis and problem-solving skills (incl. data crunching / process analysis)
Proven experience in analyzing, developing, improving and implementing business processes
Proven project management skills, planning, organizational and change management skills with an ability to outline initiatives and develop priorities
Experience as consultant in supply chain management / planning is a pre
Experience in process modeling
Knowledge/experience with SAP and advanced planning solutions
Skills
Ambitious, result-oriented and persistent can-do mentality with ability to drive activities with little supervision
Exceptional abstraction and analytical skills, out-of-the box thinker with ability to understand details and the bigger picture
