Provide expert advice to project teams on use of integration technology, data architecture and modelling, system architecture including integration best practices
Oversee critical steps within the Software Development Life Cycle components that impact development / architecture standards
Provide oversight in standards adherence through reviews of project work including detailed technical specifications and application code
Work with project teams in definition of requirements for integration strategies of their projects into the Enterprise Architecture
Manage internal resources as well as augmented or externally sourced team members
Oversee development and support of batch and back-end processes related to the application portfolio
Assist with incident response, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem resolution
Communicate project status to various levels of management
Partner with leaders of other disciplines to ensure proposed solutions align with information, technology, infrastructure, business and security architectures
Occasional regional/International travel

Brenntag is embarking on a multi-year digital transformation journey which involves multiple Salesforce clouds/products, app exchange products and other backend systems. We are transforming, CRM, B2B commerce, SRM, Marketing and many other business flows at a global scale. This is an opportunity to be part of the foundation team within Commercial platform data and integration team.
The IT Lead Integration Architect is responsible for the planning, coordination, development, and supervision of all activities related to the integration of commercial platform programs, applications, and third-party solutions to meet the business requirements of the organization. The integration needs are primarily focused on connecting on-premises and cloud-based commercial software applications, such as ERP, CRM, GBW, AWS. This individual is also responsible for developing and maintaining an application integration architecture blueprint for the organization.
Responsibilities:
Develop standards, data architecture standards, governance frameworks, and system integration standards
Develop and maintain the technology stack to include commercial or open source integration platforms

YOUR PROFILE
Education & Experience:
10+ years of relevant work experience as an architect Knowledge of enterprise architecture, systems architecture, integration architecture and data architecture standards, frameworks, and practices Knowledge of common system integration methods and technologies including Web services, SOAP, JSON, XML Schema Definition (XSD), Extensible Markup Language (XML), Business process automation and orchestration tools and software Expertise in solution design and development, Commercial systems, CRM and other enterprise application, in addition to strong business understanding and project management Proven experience in managing relationships with vendors/consultants, IT teams and internal stakeholders Experience working with API’s from commercial software applications, such as CRM and ERP systems A passion for all things tech and has a drive to experiment with new technologies to see where they can benefit the business Experience in a management or supervisory role on an integration development team Excellent communication skills BA/BS degree preferred, and 10+ years of relevant work experienceKnowledge of enterprise architecture, systems architecture, integration architecture and data architecture standards, frameworks, and practices
