JOB MISSION:

As the EMEA DTC Technology Manager, you will work directly with all EMEA Direct to consumer Functions (Ecommerce Operations, Retail Operations, Marketplace Operations, IT, Logistics, Customer Solutions and our Go-to-Market leadership) to identify, plan, and implement business solutions that allow us to get closer to our consumers.

As an accomplished leader, you will work with key partners, team members, and functions to highlight business priorities and identify solutions to address these. This role requires someone to lead a small team in meeting both the technical and traditional business challenges, with focus on delivering operational excellence to enable future thinking and key initiatives execution. Success will be achieved through engaging closely with the key partners and team members, to ensure the regional strategy is prioritised and implemented in a timely fashion, focusing on elevating the consumer experience in the region, aligned with global standards and best practices.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Build relationships with partners across all relevant business functions and drive the stakeholder engagement to align on expectations and deliver to the plan. Partnering closely with DTC Business leaders (Regional and Global), Regional IT team, and Global IT team. Lead collaborative efforts to deliver a digital vision and roadmap – working closely with the key partners in the Region and at Global levels. Able to coordinate work streams and projects with global teams including Netherlands (Amsterdam), UK (Warrington), USA (Boston and St Louis), India (Pune), from requirements definition through to post implementation review. Guide the organisation through an evolving digital transformation, prioritising the initiatives aligned with the regional and global strategic plans. Develop compelling cases for change based on business value, brand positioning, and new capabilities. Inform and drive system and solution architectures. Drive the execution of effective digital projects to enhance the digital brand experience. Clearly communicates expectations to project team members and track progress. Proactively identify and manage project risks and issues and escalate in a clear and timely manner when appropriate. Be the regional go-to-person and champion the DTC Technology team. Work with regional and global teams to ensure best practices are implemented and adopted, ensuring processes are documented effectively. Manage the coordination of pre-read materials and follow up action items for product governance meetings, cross-functional work streams and quarterly business reviews for various internal audiences. Business owner for end-to-end Omni channel systems and processes. Evaluate and propose efficiency and integrity improvements.

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:

Relevant degree or equivalent, and relevant number of years work experience in digital/retail functions and exposure to Direct-to-consumer business technologies (eComm, CRM, ESP, OMS, POS, ERP, WMS, BW, etc). Significant experience leading complex projects and evaluating/resolving complex business challenges. Strong organisation skills, be able to organise work and prioritise projects with a sense of urgency whilst being comfortable with uncertainty and shifting priorities. Collaborative style with well-developed interpersonal, communication, negotiation and consensus building skills. Able to navigate a matrix organisation and interact with people at all levels, countries, teams and cultures. Strong commercial awareness. Extensive experience of utilising BI tools. Experience of Agile methodologies, Jira or ADO, SFCC and Retail solutions (Aptos, LS Retail, Microsoft Retail, etc.). ~25% of travel required on a needed basis.
