Description

The ASML Manufacturing Academy- which focuses on technical learning solutions -islocated in Veldhoven (NL), andis seeking a talented Learning Solution Designer to join our Design & Development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative learning experiences that engage and inspire learners. As alearning professional(instructional designer), you collaborate with subject matter experts, peers,technical trainers, and other stakeholders within the organizationto create performance-based learning experiences. 

Your team

As our new Learning Solution Designer, you’ll be part of the Design & Development team which, in turn, fits into the bigger picture of the Manufacturing Academy.

Role and responsibilities

Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to analyze learning needs and identify learning objectives

Gather information and insights from experts, trainers, and other stakeholders to support learningdevelopment

Design and develop effective, efficient and engaging learning materials (including detailedstoryboardsfor e-learning modules, presentations, manuals, and assessments) using instructional design principles and adult learning theories

Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy, functionality, and usability of learning materials

Stay current with industry trends, standards and emerging technologies in learning design and development

Education and experience

Bachelor's/Master’s degree in learning and development in organizations, human resource development, educational sciences, or related field 

Proven experience in instructional design and crafting thorough storyboards for diverse learning materials

Skills

Strong understanding of adult learning theory and instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) 

Excellent English written and verbal communication skills

Proven creative thinking and problem solving-abilities

Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively as a cross-sector team in a matrixorganization

Attention to detail

Excellent PowerPoint, Excel,SharePoint, MS Teams skills

Other information

Experience with e-learning tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline) and learning management systems
