Als eerstelijns Factory Engineer ben je bezig met het oplossen en beoordelen van problemen in de lijn. Je blust veel brandjes en bent meteen van toegevoegde waarde en dit geeft mij veel voldoening. Naast de quick fixes ben ik ook bezig problemen op te lossen op lange termijn. Voor mij is het hands -on gedeelte in combinatie met strategisch denken hetgeen wat deze functie zo uitdagend maakt (Collega Factory Engineer)

De functie:

In een high-tech omgeving is de Factory Engineer verantwoordelijk voor de inrichting, ondersteuning en verbetering van het montageproces van mechatronische systemen en modules. Je bewaakt de kwaliteit van de te leveren producten. Je doel is om productiekwaliteit, -voortgang en -efficiency te optimaliseren. Je bent de technisch sparringpartner voor de monteurs en met het programmateam los jij de kwaliteitsproblemen op en realiseer je de verbeteringsplannen.

Je werkzaamheden bestaan uit:

  • Het initiëren en uitvoeren van technische verbeteringsplannen;
  • Het bewaken van de kwaliteit van de te leveren producten en van de materialen die nodig zijn voor de assemblage;
  • Het behandelen van interne klachten;
  • Het opstellen van rapportages;
  • Het deelnemen aan FMEA sessies waarin de te verwachten risico’s tijdens het assemblage proces in kaart worden gebracht en waarvoor adequate beheersmaatregels voor worden opgesteld;
  • Het begeleiden van het wijzigingstraject (EC’s);
  • Het verlenen van zowel eerstelijns probleem oplossing direct op de werkvloer als tweedelijns ondersteuning, met grote aandacht voor hoog kwaliteitsniveau en -borging;
  • Het faciliteren en implementeren van Lean Manufacturing tools.

Jouw profiel:

Je beschikt minimaal over een afgeronde MBO/HBO opleiding, met opleidingsrichting in de techniek (bijv. Werktuigbouwkunde, Technische bedrijfskunde of Mechatronica). Andere belangrijke eigenschappen voor het vervullen van de functie:

  • Je hebt ervaring met assemblage processen in een Mechatronische omgeving;
  • Je hebt gewerkt met Lean Manufacturing principes en 5S en daarnaast heb je ervaring met kwaliteits en logistieke systemen;
  • Je bent bekend met procesbeheersing van productie omgevingen: flow, proces FMEA, control plan etc;
  •  Je hebt kennis van industrie standaarden met betrekking tot productie technologie;
  •  Je beschikt over een goed analytisch vermogen: systematisch kunnen werken en planmatig bij het verzamelen en verwerken van gegevens;
  • Je bent communicatief vaardig en je beheerst zowel de Nederlandse en Engelse taal in woord en geschrift;
  • Je bent accuraat, neemt initiatief en eigenaarschap;
  • Je bent een teamplayer en kunt goed samenwerken.
