Functieomschrijving

Als Software Test Engineer ben je verantwoordelijk voor het waarborgen van de kwaliteit van onze softwaretoepassingen. Je speelt een essentiële rol in het ontwikkelproces door het ontwerpen, implementeren en uitvoeren van teststrategieën. Je identificeert en documenteert defects en zorgt ervoor dat onze software voldoet aan de hoogste kwaliteitsnormen voordat deze wordt uitgerold.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden:

  • Ontwikkelen en uitvoeren van testplannen en -scenario's voor verschillende softwaretoepassingen.
  • Uitvoeren van functionele, regressie-, en prestatiestests om de functionaliteit en prestaties van de software te waarborgen.
  • Samenwerken met ontwikkelaars en andere teamleden om defects te identificeren en op te lossen.
  • Documenteren van testresultaten en het rapporteren van bevindingen aan het team.
  • Bijdragen aan het continue verbeterproces van de testmethoden en -tools.


Functie-eisen
  • Je hebt een sterke passie voor softwaretesten.
  • Je beschikt over een afgeronde HBO- of WO-opleiding.
  • Je hebt ervaring met gestructureerd testen van embedded systemen.
  • Je hebt kennis van testautomatisering en streeft ernaar om testprocessen waar mogelijk te automatiseren.
  • Je hebt inzicht in softwareontwikkeling voor embedded systemen en kunt effectief samenwerken met ontwikkelaars om de oorzaken van fouten te analyseren.
  • Je bent in het bezit van een ISTQB Advanced of ISEB Practitioner certificaat, of je bent bereid deze te behalen.
