Job Role/Purpose:

For the last year we have been on an exciting transformation of bringing all on premise services to AWS public cloud with a clear target of changing our business and organizational model so that our developers can gain immediate benefits using public cloud. Nimbus is the program that enables this transformation and is sponsored by the Cloud and Infrastructure department and VP.

The Cloud Transformation team within C&I and under the Governance and Strategy tribe is the team that drives the execution of this program. Business case

management, Contracts management, Risk management and Planning are under the main responsibilities of this team.

The program for year 2024 focuses on closing the migrations towards AWS looking to 2 main components, migration of GCP projects to AWS and exit the

remaining 2 Private cloud DCs. Next to that implementation and scaling of FinOps practices across Product and Tech development teams is another crucial goal

towards our 2024 transformational goals.

Cloud Transformation is looking for a Project Manager to support the leading Program manager execution on the items mentioned above. The project manager will report to the Cloud transformation manager and to Governance and Strategy tribe lead (Nimbus Project lead).

Job Description & Key Responsibilities

Implement program governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure alignment with organizational goals, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success and performance of programs and projects, providing regular reports and updates to senior management. Establish risk management processes and procedures to identify, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring timely resolution and escalation as needed. Oversee contracts and procurement activities, including vendor selection contract negotiation, and supplier management, to ensure compliance with contractual obligations, budget constraints, and quality standards. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including project managers, business units, legal, finance, and procurement teams, to gather requirements, define project scope, and manage expectations. Lead the execution of project plans, schedules, and budgets, monitoring progress and performance against established milestones and deliverables. Conduct regular project reviews and audits to identify areas for improvement, implement corrective actions, and optimize project performance and efficiency. Maintain reporting of high quality and standards that will support weekly program management meetings, sponsor updates and quarterly based Product and Tech steercos.

Secondary responsibilities

Monitor closely the GCP migration plan and execution by working together with the Cloud technology hubs (customer edge teams of cloud and infra towards development teams) Drive continuous improvement and optimization of cloud migration processes, leveraging best practices, automation, and tools to streamline planning workflows and Inventory updates. Provide regular status updates and reports to senior management, highlighting key accomplishments, challenges, and upcoming milestones.

Qualifications

You love technology and have experience managing projects related to Technology, ideally on tech companies. Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, or related field; PMP or similar certification preferred. Proven experience as a project manager or program manager overseeing complex initiatives, with a focus on governance, KPIs, risk management, contracts, and procurement. Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques, with the ability to effectively manage multiple concurrent projects and programs. Experience developing and implementing program governance frameworks, KPIs, and risk management processes in a corporate environment. Demonstrated expertise in contract negotiation, procurement, and vendor management, with a track record of driving cost savings and operational efficiencies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence decision-making at all levels of the organization. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues and risks. Ideally, experience working in distributed public cloud migration projects
