Technical Account Manager

The Technical Account Manager is directly responsible for managing the technical relationship with the customer - creating a good fit between Trivium products and the customer filling process. This is a customer-oriented team-player and cross functional team coordination role, working across different functions including commercial, operations, quality and R&D to deliver strong value-added technical service to the customer.  

Key Responsibilities

•    Coordinates qualification of Trivium products at the customer
•    Customer complaint handling: coordinates with the customer and internal with Trivium quality team

•    Match customer requirements to Trivium (standard) specification.
•    Understand customer technical needs (VOC) and introduce these in the internal Trivium organization
•    Consults customers on filling process improvement

•    Identify cost reduction opportunities & drive portfolio optimization

•    Coordinate customer audits at Trivium plants

•    Match customer secondary packaging requirements to Trivium solution

•    Answer customer questions on sustainability, regulations  and other technical topics

•    Gather market intelligence from customer interactions

•    Provide technical documentation to the customer

 

Education and Training
•    BSC/MSC degree in technical discipline (e.g., Food technology or process technology)

•    Understanding of key processes such as phase-in-phase-out, complaint handling, qualifications

 

Experience 

•    At least 3- 5 years’ experience in quality/technical service or commercial roles

•    Demonstrated exposure to managing external customer relationships.

•    Proven track record in implementation of process improvement and standardizing way of working

•    Demonstrated ability to coordinate work across multiple functions (sales, operations, quality, R&D)

•    Fluency in Dutch and English 

 

Nice to have
•    Extensive technical training in can-making technologies

•    Strong communication skills – able to work at different organizational levels at both Trivium and the customer

•    Service oriented

•    Strong Analytical skills and knowledge of statistics

•    Trivium-customer strategy sensitivity

•    Understands cultural differences.

•    Root-cause problem solving
•    Strong internal networker and able to get things in a complex network of stakeholders

We can consider applicants living anywhere in The Netherlands who will work remotely and travel 40%- 60% of the time.
