Responsibilities:

Product Design

Contribute to product vision and product releases. Design delightful, human-centered solutions that add value to the product(s). Design, iterate, prototype and test new product features. Confidently communicate design concepts (sketches, wireframes, prototypes, and flows) to key stakeholders, advocating for the best possible user experience. Working in a structured and agile way with your team and unit. Constructively critique work of team members. Collaborate closely both within your team and with other teams towards a higher goal, rather than working in isolation.

Customer Success

Continuously deliver value to our customers. Synthesize user insights, gaps and opportunities into differentiating concepts and delightful, human-centric solutions which contribute to our customer’s success. Evaluate and validate product usability on a regular basis with users, customers, and internal stakeholders, and use this input to improve Mendix’s products, processes and company.

Knowledge & Development

Stay updated with the latest trends/thinking and move beyond product design artifacts and tools to create the right deliverables for the job. Eager to learn more and improve, whether it's the product, a process, your team, or yourself. Share knowledge within the team, unit, R&D, and Mendix.

Requirements:

Bachelor or Master’s degree in design or relevant experience in this field. 5+ years of professional experience in product design. Are able to function independently in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment. Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Be open minded and able to think outside the box. Have in-depth knowledge of multiple design skills.
