GLOBAL PROCUREMENT DIRECTOR CONTENT 

 

 

We are looking for a Global Procurement Director Content to join our procurement team.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

 

As our Global Procurement Director Content, you are responsible for our Creative and Production categories (c. $230M spend)

 

Managing these categories is about focusing on both Marketing efficiency and effectiveness, so that we ensure that our investments deliver according to the highest standards of creative outputs, sustainable value, and drive competitive advantage. In this role you will be expected to co-design a robust strategy and roll-out future-proof operating models. You will lead the Category to deliver sustainable savings, innovation, ROI and de-risk the practice to support growth and the overall Coty strategy.

 

Your main focus:  

  • Develop a robust Content Categories Strategy aligned with key internal stakeholders and leveraging industry dynamics, best practices and suppliers
  • Deliver end-to-end and sustainable value creation
  • Be an ambassador of financial discipline with a commitment to both Procurement and Marketing excellence
  • Develop strong supplier relationships to accompany our turnaround strategy and our innovations
  • Act as change agent to drive the change leading to Operational Excellence and marketing investments optimization/ROI
  • Lead and develop your team

The team consists of 2 direct reports and you will work closely together with several departments such as Marketing, Finance, eCommerce, including but not limited to Leadership Teams (SVP and VPs Marketing). YOU ARE A COTY FIT 

 

You like to solve complex challenges in global matrix organizations. As an experienced Marketing Procurement Leader, you have a high ability to drive clarity, you are agile, and strong in communication (verbal and written). You get energy from working in a fast-paced, diverse and international environment. Other than that, you have the following skills: 

  • Meaningful experience in Marketing Procurement, at least 10 years, including Team leadership and development, at least 5 years
  • Excellent Procurement strategic thinking and strategic sourcing capabilities
  • Concise, integrated thinking and storytelling: boil down multiple data points into a simple but powerful story that drives decisions and outputs.
  • Project management: organized, structured and always have an overview of all the deliverables. You know how to bring multiple projects to a successful ending within the given timeframe.
  • Team player with strong passion for winning and a bias for action: You believe in strong collaboration, leverage diversity of thinking and love to win. You are future oriented, are not bound by the status quo and recognize what can be improved.
