Account Manager SaaS



Founded 6 years ago, Skoon is a rapidly growing scale-up with a mission to make clean energy accessible and affordable to everyone, always.

In 2023 we’ve secured €5M in Series A funding, which has strengthened our leading position as the world’s largest online platform for clean mobile energy systems. We are growing our team and expanding our business internationally. As part of taking the company to the next level, we are looking for an Account Manager to join our team  


Your role as an Account Manager; 

As an Account Manager for our SaaS customers, you will; 

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key partners and customers to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, managing all communication and ensuring timely resolution of any issues or concerns.
  • Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for assigned accounts and provide recommendations for improvement as needed.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, such as operations and IT, to ensure seamless delivery of products or services to customers
  • Identify new business opportunities within assigned accounts and work with the sales teams to pursue those opportunities.
  • Attend industry events and conferences to build relationships and stay informed on industry trends.

Stay up-to-date on company products and services, as well as competitive offerings.




Candidate profile

We are on the lookout for a talented Account Manager, who can solve problems quickly and diligently and knows the dynamics of a fast-paced start-up. We seek someone who will expand our international network of customers and build long-term relationships with both partners and customers of Skoon. A strong sense of personal and professional engagement with our team, product and mission is deeply valued.

We are looking for someone who;

  • Has 3+ years of experience in a customer-facing or account management role.
  • Has an analytical mindset, with the capability to gather and interpret data, providing valuable insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Is an excellent communicator and a role model to the rest of the team members.
  • Is able to build and maintain relationships with customers at all levels.
  • Is able to handle pressure and effectively multitask within a variety of projects.
  • Has an eye for detail and can maintain high standards of accuracy and quality.
  • Has a strong sense of responsibility and can manage expectations.
  • Has a passion for sustainability, renewable energy, and driving the energy transition. 
  • Can demo software and has experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Is able to prioritize effectively, executing long-term plans, while working on smaller, short-term projects.
  • Is flexible to travel across Europe for business trips when needed.
  • Is able to speak, read, and write English and preferably Dutch at a professional level.

Bonus if you have; 

  •  relevant experience in the energy sector to confidently communicate and advise customers.
