We offer an internship in the Global Medical Affairsorganization of CERENOVUS, a Johnson and Johnson MedTech company,focusing on product innovation and product insights. CERENOVUSoffers a broad portfolio of devices used in the endovasculartreatment of hemorrhagic and ischemic stroke.

This internship will offer you a great opportunity to gainexperience in the healthcare sector with the opportunity to makeyour own publication . The duration of this internship will be 6 to9 months.

who areyou

MSc student in the field ofmedicine, pharmaceutical sciences, life sciences, biomedicalscience, biomedical engineering or another relateddiscipline.

Fluency in English is required,as well as above average computer skills (Powerpoint, Excel,Word).

what will youdo

You will be part of theglobal Medical Affairs organisation of CERENOVUS. You will supportdisease state research and product innovation across the breadth ofproducts and therapeutic areas in neurovascular disease. Theinternship is o ice-based and does not involve any laboratorywork.

Your core project will be researchassignment, carried out as a systematic review of literature withqualitative and quantitative analysis. A report of all findingsshall be created. There is an opportunity for writing abstracts,posters, or manuscripts for publication.

Furthermore you will be:

  • Liaisingand communicating with many differentdepartments
  • Managing projects relating toMedical Affairs in line with businessneeds
  • Working with colleagues in the US andacross EMEA to create streamlinedprocesses
  • Identifying and reviewing scientificliterature to aid the products'portfolios

CERENOVUS is a manufacturerand supplier of neurovascular devices for the treatment ofhemorrhagic and ischemic stroke. CERENOVUS headquarters are inIrvine, California, with R&D facilities in Miami, Florida andGalway, Ireland. The Global Medical Affairs team is a virtual teamfrom all over the world.

You will besupervised by the Global Medical Affairs CERENOVUS AssociateDirector based in Ireland, as well as the EMEA Sr Manager MedicalAffairs based in The Netherlands. Because we think it's importantthat our interns not only have good contacts within their team butalso with the other interns, there is a monthly meeting with allJohnson & Johnson interns in the Netherlands, theinterns@JnJ-meeting. Here, a senior manager gives a presentationabout an interesting project and his/her own career. One of theinterns also presents about his/her assignment and learningexperiences. This also allows you to build up a network throughoutJohnson & Johnson in theNetherlands.

  • The internship can behome-based in combination with the J&J Medical Amersfoortoffice.
