What will you do?
  • Day to day activities, including ensuring the correct trade information in the treasury system (after captured by front office), settlements of transactions, execution What will you do?
    • Day to day activities, including ensuring the correct trade information in the treasury system (after captured by front office), settlements of transactions, execution of payments in various currencies, cash management and correspondence related to transactions with internal & external counterparts
    • Supporting the Capital Markets departments, counterparties and other group companies (world wide)
    • Close contact with subsidiary finance departments in order to provide loans to group companies and preparing & maintaining loan contracts required
    • Keep the treasury system updated with all transaction details
    • Communicate with the Front Office located world wide
    • Operational cash management in the currencies necessary ensuring that funds are available to meet
    • Risk management in accordance to company policies (FX hedges, interest rate and currency derivatives)
    • Responsible for execution of international payments with attention to correct documentation and deadlines
    • Monthly liquidity reporting in the database
    • Calculate market values of financial instruments
    • Support internal and external audit requirements
    • Backup to the Deputy Head of Back Office and the treasury office team
    • Test processes when new products or updates are planned in SAP
    • Keep up digital filing system and search for improvements
    • Own initiative to bring up ideas for optimising workflows
    Who are you?
    • University degree or equivalent experience (in Economics or Finance)
    • Fluent in English in a business environment is required (German would be an asset)
    • 3-5 years Treasury work experience in an international environment (Please note: our client is not looking for someone witch banking experience. It must be in a commercial company)
    • Experience in the financial markets and financial products, e.g. commercial papers, bonds, loans, derivatives, FX and money market instruments
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Attention to detail, accurate, punctual and driven by quality
    • Analytical thinking and ability to investigate and to solve problems independently
    • Team player and able to achieve results independently as well as within a team
    • Sense of ownership and responsibility to deliver results
    • Able to prioritize and work with high volume tasks
    • Multitasker and pro active in daily operations
    • Experience with MS Office (especially Excel)
    • Experience with SAP or CRM systems preferred
    • You live in Amsterdam region
