  • Determine the initial design and oversee the integration of all electrical systems on board ships.
  • Carry out the detailed design process or supervise it yourself.
  • Develop technical specifications for the systems and select appropriate components and materials for their construction.
  • Analyze complex issues and find new solutions to overcome challenges that may arise.
  • Consult with clients, users, and classification bureaus to ensure that the systems and installations meet the necessary requirements and standards.

Functie-eisen
  • The candidate must possess a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
  • They should have considerable experience in engineering electrical installations, including generation, system integration, and lighting, ideally in the maritime industry.
  • Good knowledge of materials related to electronic or control systems and components is necessary.
  • Experience and familiarity with Eplan is a desirable skill.
  • Strong leadership abilities are required, as the candidate will be expected to successfully manage a small team of Electrical Engineers and oversee their technical work.
