As a Pre-sales Manager (Data & AI, Cloud) you will lead a team of pre-sales Solutions Architects focusing on complex accounts, helping to lead our Benelux expansion. Your experience partnering with Sales organisations will help to grow consumption, whilst coaching new Sales and pre-sales team members to work together. You will guide your team and be involved with opportunities to enhance your team's effectiveness. You must be an expert at communicating complex, business value-focused solutions; supporting complex sales cycles; and building relationships with key stakeholders in large corporations.
You will report to the Area VP, Field Engineering, Benelux.
The impact you will have:
Hire and manage a growing team of technical pre-sales Solutions ArchitectsBuild a collaborative culture within a rapid-growth team. To embody and promote Databricks' customer-obsessed, teamwork and diverse cultureSupport increased return on investment of Solutions Architect involvement in sales cyclesPromote a solution and value-based selling field-engineering organisationDisplay an understanding of business needs and revenue potential for accounts in the assigned regionBuild Databricks' brand in Benelux in partnership with the Marketing and Sales teamWhat we look for:
Experienced in a first-line leadership role with experience ideally from a Data, AI or Cloud CompanyRelevant high-growth enterprise software pre-sales success with tenure at a reputable software companyExperience developing, managing, and building a team of successful Big Data, Cloud, or SaaS professionalsCulture leader with experience managing a growing sales organisation and building teams of successful and passionate big data, Cloud, or SaaS sales professionalsTrack record of building strong ecosystems of lucrative customer relationships and cross-functional partnerships (Sales, Engineering, Marketing)Knowledgeable in and passionate about data-driven decisions, AI, and Cloud software modelsGreat at instituting processes for technical field members to improve efficiencyMarket experience of the Benelux regionBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience through work experienceBenefits
