We're on the lookout for an organized, detail-oriented, driven, and upbeat team member who is ready to step into the role of Supplier Manager. As a Supplier Manager, you'll be responsible in the selection of external suppliers, conducting due diligence, assessing risks, onboarding, and overseeing end-to-end management of vendors and third parties. Your mission will be to ensure that benefits are delivered in a cost-effective, compliant, and efficient manner.

You'll ensure that third-party providers align with our company's high standards and expectations of quality and reliability. This role is pivotal to our growth strategy, including the development of our emerging Affinity segment.

This role is a full-time hybrid position. You'll have the flexibility to work from either our office in The Hague (Netherlands) or Zaventem (Belgium), as part of the dynamic Operations Team.

Your role:

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define third-party requirements and service levels; Identify potential vendors, conduct due diligence for alignment with Zurich policies and perform risk evaluations; Lead the negotiation and contract agreement process with vendors; Oversee the onboarding of new vendors and coordinate with internal stakeholders; Organize regular audits and reviews of vendors using appropriate resources aligned with internal and external standards; Manage vendor relationships and service levels, ensuring timely resolution of escalations; Act as the primary point of contact, maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders and vendors; Continuously monitor vendor performance, identify trends, and suggest improvements; Develop strategies to mitigate potential risks; Ensure comprehensive documentation of vendor processes; Monitor and manage internal and external third party compliance controls; And stay updated on regulatory changes and industry trends impacting vendor management and outsourcing.

What we are looking for:

Hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance / Economics (or related field) with 10+ years experience in third-party assurance / vendor management in Insurance. In-depth understanding of insurance underwriting, policy administration, and claims handling is mandatory. Experience in an international environment, cross-functional teamwork, and strong project management skills are required. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and other tools. English proficiency is required, Dutch and/or French is beneficial. Willingness to travel (when necessary).
