Ben jij nauwkeurig en detailgericht en werk je graag samen in een team? Als Admissions officer heb je cruciale rol in de toelating van internationale studenten bij hun studie aan de Universiteit Utrecht binnen het International Student Admissions (ISA) team. Ons team is verantwoordelijk voor het beoordelen van buitenlandse diploma's, het verwerken van visumaanvragen en het beheren van beursaanvragen voor internationale studenten. Voor deze functie is goede vaardigheid van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal vereist.
Wat ga je doen?- Je verwerkt aanmeldingen en maakt de diplomawaarderingen van de buitenlandse diploma’s met het oog op toelating tot zowel bachelor- als masteropleidingen.
- Je draagt bij aan de ontwikkeling en algehele verbetering van de programma's en processen als ook aan de vooraf opgestelde doelstellingen van het team.
- Je evalueert en analyseert relevante data voor de aanmelding, toelating en inschrijving van studenten met een buitenlandse vooropleiding.
- Je biedt onsite ondersteuning voor studenten tijdens de aankomst- en introductieweken, open dagen en online evenementen.
- Je verzorgt en ontwikkelt een goede informatievoorziening en communicatie naar studenten en beantwoordt email vragen (via Topdesk, ons support systeem).
- Je ondersteunt tijdens de piekuren ook bij het visumproces.
- Je draagt bij aan goede contacten met collega's buiten het eigen team: faculteiten, Central Student Administration, Communicatie en Marketing, etc.
Jouw motivatie en gedrevenheid om bij te dragen aan goede administratieve processen om studenten te kunnen helpen hun onderwijsdromen te realiseren staat voor ons bovenaan de selectiecriteria. Je het het vermogen om zowel zelfstandig als in teamverband effectief te werken in een snelle omgeving. En verder breng je mee:
- een bachelordiploma (bij voorkeur master) in een relevant vakgebied zoals internationaal onderwijs, internationale betrekkingen of een aanverwant vakgebied;
- vloeiend Nederlands en Engels is een must, zowel schriftelijk als mondeling;
- sterke aandacht voor detail en analytische vaardigheden;
- uitstekende communicatieve en interpersoonlijke vaardigheden, met een klantgerichte benadering;
- bekendheid met internationale onderwijssystemen en raamwerken voor de evaluatie van diploma's is wenselijk;
- ervaring op het gebied van toelatingen, evaluatie van diploma's of aanverwante gebieden is een pre.
Wij bieden:
- een functie voor 12 maanden met uitzicht op een dienstverband voor onbepaalde tijd;
- een werkweek van 32 tot 36 uur met een bruto maandsalaris van minimaal € 3.072,- tot maximaal € 4.103,- bij een fulltime dienstverband (schaal 8 van de cao Nederlandse Universiteiten);
- 8% vakantiegeld en een eindejaarsuitkering van 8,3%;
- een pensioenregeling, gedeeltelijk doorbetaald ouderschapsverlof en flexibele arbeidsvoorwaarden op basis van de cao Nederlandse Universiteiten.
Naast de arbeidsvoorwaarden die zijn vastgelegd in de cao Nederlandse Universiteiten kent de Universiteit Utrecht een aantal eigen regelingen. Zo zijn er afspraken over professionele ontwikkeling, verlofregelingen, regelingen op het gebied van sport en cultuur en krijg je korting op software en andere IT-producten. Ook geven we je de ruimte om je arbeidsvoorwaarden uit te breiden via het Keuzemodel Arbeidsvoorwaarden. Zo stimuleren we je graag om te blijven groeien. Acht directies ondersteunen het College van Bestuur bij het opstellen en uitvoeren van de jaarlijkse bestuursagenda, het vierjaarlijkse strategisch plan en bij het verlenen van diensten.
De directie Studenten, Onderwijs & Onderzoek (SO&O) is één van de ondersteunende directies en maakt onderdeel uit van de Universitaire Bestuursdienst. De directie SO&O ondersteunt het College van Bestuur van de Universiteit Utrecht bij de ontwikkeling en uitvoering van het strategisch beleid ten aanzien van studenten, onderwijs, onderzoek en valorisatie en is verantwoordelijk voor de universiteitsbrede ondersteuning van en informatievoorziening aan studenten.
