Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Management Leader to drive the development and growth of our Infrastructure and Platform capabilities. This role requires a unique blend of functional product management skills and technical understanding of platform technologies. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, a strong communicator, and a hands-on leader who can work cross-functionally to deliver innovative solutions while growing a team of product managers under them. While candidates from all regions are welcome to apply, we strongly encourage applications from those based in Europe.

What is the role?

  • Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Infrastructure and Platform capabilities.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, and other cross-functional teams to develop and launch new features and products.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and inform decision-making.
  • Provide technical guidance and insights to the team, ensuring the platform’s architecture and technologies align with industry best practices.
  • Advocate for the end-user experience, ensuring products are intuitive, reliable, and meet user needs.
  • Oversee the product budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and alignment with financial goals.
  • Recruit, lead, mentor, and develop a team of product managers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure and data platform technologies, including cloud computing, data storage, and networking.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and beyond.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience in the technology, software, or related industries.
  • Hands-on experience with platform technologies and infrastructure management.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
  • Proven ability to understand customer needs and translate them into successful products.

You can work remotely from home, or from one of our nearby offices. The job can be fulfilled both from Sri Lanka as well as Europe.
