Head of Product Logistics Network Optimization

As part of this varied role, we’re counting on you to:

  • Be a thought/ knowledge leader on logistics network optimization. We expect you to come up with out-of-the-box new thoughts to decrease costs (Cost per order, orders per hour, reduce waste in assignment algorithm, etc), improve speed (accuracy, time from pickup to delivery), ensure customer satisfaction (scores of partner, courier and customer).
  • Lead, write, develop and articulate a consolidated improvement plan to support the optimization of the logistics network
  • Hand over the execution of the improvement ideas/improvement plan to the regular product and tech teams, but support and train those teams as well.
  • Ensure clear ownership moving forward on the network optimization topics between P&T and Operations
  • Work across multiple teams to manage dependencies, set priorities and maintain alignment to the overall P&T strategy and objectives
  • Improvement plan should include relevant important metrics on delivery times, cost per order, orders per hour in both delivery models (Scoober and Delco). Ensure ownership is set on who handles which metrics.
  • Empower the teams you are working with to make decisions and create a safe environment for them to build, measure, learn and develop at speed

  • Extensive experience as an expert working on logistic optimization problem space, preferably in other marketplace environments
  • Extensive Logistics background
  • Ability to deal with multiple, often contending priorities, while using a customer first approach, backed up data driven evidence and clear assumptions
  • Outstanding storytelling and communication skills to engage team members and stakeholders on a non-technical and technical level
  • Passion for leading, influencing and mentoring across team members to level up skill sets and learning across the business
